Top 5 Upscale Shopping malls in Hong Kong and Where to find them!

Good day Readers! The beautiful Hong Kong has always been named as part of the Top 10 cities in the world with the most wealthy people worldwide! Have you ever wondered where the elites or these financially blessed people shop?

Trivia: Four of these luxury malls are found in Hong Kong Island and one in Kowloon.

This Travel guide might help you locate the authentic signature products you’d always want to purchase, this blog also serves as a shoutout to all those window shoppers out there! As what my source said,” Shopping should always be Quality over Quantity.”

In this travel guide you will be able to find the following:

1. Top Five Luxury malls in Hong Kong.

2. Products

3. Major stores

4. Dining

5. Transport

Let the City shopping guide begin!

According to China Highlights : Wealthy Hong Kong shoppers prefer to personally shop for luxury products in the malls instead of shopping online, and, until recently, there was a surge of Mainland Chinese luxury shoppers. Both groups of people spent so much that Hong Kong luxury stores were top in the world until the recent downtrend in 2014. But Hong Kong still remains among the top in the world as of 2015.

I personally shop here with my family most of the time! You’ll find me here often when I’m in Hong Kong, why? Because it’s near our hotel plus who’s not going to be captivated by this gorgeous luxury mall.

The most wealthy people shop in Landmark since this is where the stores are most luxurious. The price tags are about the highest found in the city! In fact it is out of range for most regular people even wanting to shop there.

Landmark is found below the 5 star luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong Central District. You’ll find a cavernous atrium with luxury stores, and often the space at the middle of the mall contains extravagant holiday decorations, which I personally admire, you can check my instagram for the photos. Moreover, the company that owns the mall owns four other adjacent malls that are interconnected.

Products: Luxury Fashion, jewellries, watches

Major stores: Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Valentino, Chanel, Celine, Mark Jacobs, PRADA, Harvey Nicols + 120 more clothing stores. BVLGARI, Cartier and 30+ other jewellry & watch stores.

Dining: Several Michelin-starred restaurants in 2016

Transportation: MTR STATION/ TAXI

Unlike the Landmark Mall, the IFC mall is a favorite of window shoppers & tourist!

The IFC Mall in the IFC Towers is the best luxury mall in China for tourists wanting to enjoy luxury shopping while enjoying fine views, fine dining, and convenient location.

This is the place where the tourists enjoys the daily Symphony of lights. The waterfront view is found here. It overlooks Victoria Harbor, and has rooftop cafes and bars which are very much notable.

This was a shot I took during our dine out at IFC mall! Gorgeous view!

Transport: MTR Central Station, Hong Kong Station, and Airport Express with airport baggage check in. Hong Kong’s subways are the best in the world.

Pacific Place in Admiralty is huge! It has a mixture of many luxurious stores and some moderate-priced stores, and a wider selection than the first two.

A large HARVEY NICHOLS is the main attraction.

4. Lee Gardens

This mall is located in the very expensive Causeway Bay area near Russell Street which until recently was the most expensive luxury shopping street in the world. Causeway Bay is also the place where I had my self checked up back when I got rewally ill and weak from indigestion. I admire their doctors for a quick and best medical service offered for expats patients like me.

It is a sister mall of the Landmark and owned by the same company. This mall attracts the wealthy residents near the place. (Source: China Higlights)

It is in Hong Kong’s tallest building called the ICC Tower that is in Hong Kong’s budding new finance and business center. It isn’t fully developed yet, but its location and the Ritz Carlton above makes it one of Hong Kong’s most luxurious. (Source: China highlights)
Products: designer luxury fashion, jewellery, watches, and electronics

Major stores: Jimmy Choo, Rolex, REISS, Mulberry, Miu Miu and about 120 others.

Special features: Hong Kong’s best high tech movie theater, central transport hub, Sky100 observatory
