Injap Inspires: My Happy Room at Hotel 101-Manila!

July has been one of the busiest month I’ve had in my blogging career. Planning the STAYCATION SERIES before felt easy and seems to be a piece of cake, but doing it was another story (trust me)! Today I am down to my fourth hotel…

Edgar ‘Injap’ Sia II was crowned as the youngest Filipino Billionaire. I’m keeping a book entitled Life principles by Injap Sia and I’ve been reading it for a little while now. I honestly got most of my ideas from this book which subconsciously pushed me to go further not just in the blogging industry but also in the business sector. Injap is one inspirational being no one could ever deny. And now with his new venture, the DoubleDragon Properties Corp. which recently took over the company behind an emerging condotel chain, branded as Hotel 101 and the local franchise of Jinjiang Inn (read more abut my stay in Jinjiang Inn Makati and Ortigas here), I honestly felt blessed to have experienced staying in these hotels and share every bit of my experience with you!

Hotel 101- Manila

Say hello to one of the most talked about business and leisure hotel in the Metro world.  This hotel is known to be the flagship property among the Hotel 101 Management Corporation’s hotels and resorts in the Philippines.

The Lobby

The Hotel’s lobby was graciously spacious and elegant. Perfect for a quick meet up with friends or business partners.

The Staff were attentive enough to attend to each and every guest’s needs, for example we had a hard time figuring out if our “grab car” finally reached the hotel due to a number of people blocking our way at the exit area, I noticed that both guards plus one staff willingly approached us to check our grab car outside an lead it back to the hotel lobby where we were currently waiting! 🙂

Notice the elegance brought by the minimal interiors surrounding Hotel 101-Manila.

Amico is the hotel’s restaurant catering Spanish to Mediterranean cuisines everyday. The restaurant also offers breakfast buffet, a la carte lunch and dinner both for in-house guests and walk-in clients. Here are some photos I took during our breakfast buffet. 🙂

Unfortunately due to my busy schedule, I wasn’t able to find time and check this part of the hotel. However it was mentioned that the outdoor pool is located at the second floor where guests can unwind and enjoy the view of the Manila bay sunset.

Happy Room

The Happy room is designed in a minimalist modern approach furnished with household features.  It’s a 21-square meter air conditioned room with two beds (1 queen size and 1 standard bed). A kitchen sink can also be found at the corner with microwave and mini refrigerator. I also noticed a room telephone near our beds and we were entertained by the 48″ LED Cable TV during our stay. Not to mention the strong WIFI connection inside the room which I used to monitor my best friend’s  grab car when she was about to leave my room after our quick meet up that day.

Below are the photos of the Happy Room where I and my family spent the last night in Manila.

Below is a photo of me and my best friend hanging out at Blue bay walk which happens to be walking distance from Hotel 101-Manila. I must say that this hotel is the most convenient hotel to stay in Pasay.

On your next trip to Manila be sure to check Hotel-101 or include it on your list of hotels to stay.
