I can’t believe how gorgeous views are from the hills of the Calvary. I must say that this is the perfect destination to visit if you guys are looking for a unique Lenten experience this 2017.


Getting There

Via Plane

  1. Book a flight to Tuguegarao

Via Bus

  1. Take Tuguegarao-bound bus from Victory Liner’s terminal on East Avenue in Kamias, Quezon City. (12 Hour trip)

Side trips

12-hour trip to Tuguegarao is a pilgrimage trip. You have a choice to Hop off the bus every now and then and visit numerous iconic churches on your way to Tuguegarao.

2. From Tuguegarao take a tricycle to get to Iguig, Cagayan.

3. To reach Calvary Hills, ask the driver to drop you off at Iguig’s town proper along the highway.

4. Cross the road, and go up the hill.

5. Then you’ll find the church and Calvary Hills.


So what are you guys waiting for? Time to step out of the usual mainstream tourist attractions and spend a more meaningful trip to Cagayan Valley!!!
